A consultation is not a counseling session. It is intervention planning--an
opportunity to get my ideas on the problem that your are dealing with to
include strategies for remediation. Should you decide to schedule a
consultation, you may succinctly background me on the situation via email.
Useful information includes a description of: a. The history of the issue, b.
Major current predicaments, challenges, and diagnoses, c. Current treatment
approaches, d. Medication history, and e. Expected outcomes from the
consultation.
